If anyone can give me any information about my dad during his time with the 82nd Airborne Division, Unit 504 Parachute Maintenance Company, U.S. Army during 1942-1945 I would be very grateful. Please use the email link on this page. Thank you.
I have included some pages of a book produced after the war by some of the guys of the 82nd; the cover and explaination page as well as some pictures from the book. If you recognize someone and can let me know how I can get more info, I would be thankful. I have added 2 pages of Roll Call from the book; it is a little difficult to read but I am workin on a more readable copy.
The framed medals and patches are only some of those found among my dad's things. Since we did not know how to assemble them properly the loose stars and oak leaves are merely displayed loose rather than mounted. There were other patches and pins in his foot locker.
A copy of Dad's dd214 is also added.
